new blog!

okay so, i have been using this blog for a really long time as a business AND personal blog and it's just getting confusing now! i've decided to start my own blog, just for me, as i'm having a rough time at the moment and i just need an outlet or something, so click here or on the image above to see it!  i'm still working on all the graphics etc, i only made it yesterday, so i reassure you it will get better!

busy day!

so today i spent aaaages rephotographing my jewellery.  i managed to do most of the necklaces, so now if you visit them you will be able to see how the jewellery looks on you! (i photographed jewellery on a mannequin)  this should give you more of an idea of the size, as sometimes it's hard to tell with a picture of just the jewellery.

i also made some new products! they are:

i can't believe it's already 2011! so much has happened this year, good and bad, including my best friend moving to australia, meeting the most amazing boy i could ask for, making new friends and more, i'm so happy to be so lucky!  there is a minor problem with the upcoming gcse's but that's only short term(:

last night was hectic i must admit, i went to my friends new years eve party and stayed up aaall night, with the exception of a nap at around 5 in the morning so now i am incredibly hungover and tired, amazing start to the new year though, even if i didn't get a new years kiss of my boyfriend, oh well, let's just hope for next year, hope aaaall my readers have the best start and everything to 2011 and i'll write soon(:

christmas presents!

looking at this picture i feel so insanely spoiled! i guess it's probably down to my parents being divorced so i get two christmases and i have generally a large family.  i'm really happy with my presents though, especially as i'm officially allowed to take my macbook wherever i want now and i got apple tv and the uggs, hoodies & coat i asked for(:  my most unusual can be found right at the front, that strange black pole is in fact a legless tripod, i don't quite see the point but i'll have fun fashioning some legs for it i guess(:  sorry for the seemingly boastful post haha, it's not supposed to be aimed in that way d:

on another note, next year i will be bringing out susanna valentine's first ring! it will be a range of proper vintage domino rings.  i initially want them to be the trending double finger ring but i need to check how big the dominoes are first, because i don't think they'll stretch over two fingers! so yeah stay tuned for that, should be quite good, and super individual (and affordable) too :D

100th POST WOOO

this may sound a little weird, but i hate january sales.  they're just way too hectic and you can't concentrate when there are so many people around you, rushing around like mad people trying to get all the bargains they can.  this is the reason i love online shopping, frankly i prefer it to shopping in actual shops, cause you know instantly what sizes/colours etc are available and you avoid queues and angry shoppers.  the only downside is that you don't know how large the sizes are or how it looks on you, but i don't really mind.

so today was just another lazy day at home with the fam and i've been january sale shopping online and i had a look through aaaall the high street shops, topshop, new look, h&m, forever 21 but i really couldn't find anything amazing and i was rather disappointed with forever 21's sale section, there's hardly anything there! i then started looking through the other stuff, that wasn't in the sale and fell in love with a few items, i ended up spending £36!  can't wait for it all to arrive though!  here's what i bought:

wow so many items are being sold! i have now sold out of all the items above (soar! vintage earrings, Heartbeat bracelet, a little birdie told me..bracelet) i am able to make more birdie bracelets and heartbeat bracelets but i'm afraid there will be no repeat of the earrings, they were vintage one offs!  if you would like me to make you a bracelet from above please do contact me!

terrible week

so last night it snowed and left me with like 3 or so inches of snow.  don't get me wrong, i love the stuff but just not this time of the year, especially today.  i'm supposed to be going back to my fleet house (my parents are divorced) and seeing my boyfriend and i also need to get my macbook from there so i have it for friday but nnnoo, it has to snow and my school just had to close, leaving me stranded in arborfield of all places.  no one lives in arborfield!  so today is my pajama day, chillaxin' in my onesie(;

also, i blogged about the clothes show live before, talking about how excited i am about going this sunday.  turns out, they send us the wrong tickets so we are now going on saturday.  i'm still grateful for getting the tickets of course but sunday is the day where the shops are trying to get all of the stock out, resulting in mega price cuts, but whatever, still going and i guess thats what matters(:  my mum also managed to get vip fashion show tickets for a really discounted price, at only £15 a pop! so happy!

next, music.  i've been in a bit of a rut lately musicwise as i'm finding i'm just listening to the same old stuff so i went through my ipod and rediscovered brand new and hollywood undead! i got the hollywood undead discography ages ago and never really listened to it and now i'm obsessed!  probably not the kind of music most people like though haha.  however, you may like brand new.  i knew a few of their songs before but got their album and fell head over heels in love!  this is what the video at the top of the post is, it's my new favourite song by them!

so provoked by my obsession, i have ordered some tshirts!  above to the left you'll see an outdated brand new tee which i got real cheap cause they have new merch now.  i also bought a crystal castles tee shown on the right because i loooove their music and saw the tee on the stalls at reading festival last year but never got round to buying it, so here it is! can't wait until they both arrive!

i'm also mega excited because this sunday is the clothes show live!  my godmother is able to get us special vip tickets for free and discounted vip fashion show tickets, she's the best!  i have been to the clothes show now for about 4 years in a row and it's one of the only things i really look forward to in my year, aside from reading festival, which i have been to for 3 years running now.

lastly, SNOW ALL OVER EVERYWHERE! :D aaall my friends have been going on about how it was going to snow today, i didn't believe anyone though, because, although it is freezing outside, it never really properly snows before christmas.  so to my surprise, this morning i woke up to snow in my garden! although it was only like a centimetre or so, there was quite a lot in farnborough, where i go to school.  it has been snowing all day and is supposed to be carrying on all night so hopefully school will be closed tomorrow!

sunday round up week 3: hide & seek clothing

so actually i'm finding these round up things kinda difficult! i'm not sure as to what to put into them, even though i came up with the idea haha.  so i have decided that it shall be the day where i post anything random that i like with a song or something, i dont know.  i also could feature people's shops etc. to help get the word around about their passions! :D if you have any interest in being featured please do contact me!

this week i have chosen to feature hide and seek clothing.  i stumbled across this store a few weeks ago and fell in love with everything!  i actually bought the wake up tshirt shown in the picture above to the left and it arrived the other day! you may not be able to see it but i am wearing it in the two pictures at the top!  it looks great if you layer it and shove on a check shirt on the top! :D  it's also insanely soft and comfortable to wear.  i bought the size medium and it's kinda baggy on me, as it is more of a size 12 whereas i am a size 8-10 but it's okay because i like my tshirts baggy(:  i also just noticed another tee on their site which i'm putting on my christmas list! it's the mountain logo tee and it's the picture above to the right.

but enough of that for now, if you have noticed, i have redesigned the whole site!  it is still a bit pinky and girly but it's a little more personal to me now, and any new jewellery i'm making will be too(: i spent quite a while with all the coding etc and i would really like your honest opinion if anyone is willing to share? thank you (:

macbook!

yeyahhh so i finally got my macbook pro! i'm so hyped! hence the picture above hahaha although i do look like a guy in that picture, please do ignore that factor hehe.  so i was up until like 2am last night playing around with everything and didn't go into school because it was only a half day so i can't get picked up at lunch so don't bother going in, which my 'rents don't mind cause i only miss like 1 lesson.  

i'm also really nervous at the moment 'cause it's the time where i have to start think about sixth forms.  i looked round farnborough sixth the other day and fell in love. its amazing there, especially the art block, i have have have to get in! i filled in my application form earlier and i still haven't submitted it yet, so worried! i shouldn't be though, i was predicted pretty much all A's so hopefully i'll get in, otherwise i have no second choice! D:

i still haven't added those new products yet as promised, sorry! i'm now at my dads house and i keep all my jewellery stuff at mums so the earliest i can add them is monday, sorry!  i'll try add them asap though(:  something to look forward to i guess!

ahh life's good at the moment :D  i may be absolutely broke but whatever, i just bought a new camera!  i do already have a nikon d5000 that i got for my birthday last year but i really wanted a proper vintage one so had a look on ebay and managed to win a genuine polaroid 1000 camera for just under£20 which is really cheap! it looks like this:

i'm SOOOO hyped! i can't wait for it to arrive!:D  it's so cute, especially the little rainbow stripes :3  unfortunately, it does take film and it's not cheap! its almost a tenner for 1 pack but oh wellll(:  i'm hoping that when i receive it i can do something like this to my wall in my bedroom:

also, i'm getting soooo impatient, i ordered those galaxy leggings a while ago (a made a post about it, you'll have seen it if you're a regular reader) and they still haven't arrived, i mean i know they have to print the fabric and sew them and stuff but it can't take this long!!  arrrrrrrgh
