zara!

sssoooo i'm constantly shopping online but i never thought to look on the zara website, it's never really been my thing as it's always pretty out of my price range and not really the things i would wear but someone sent me the link to an item they liked from the trf range and i had a little browse of the other products, i fell in love with everything!  below are a few of my favourites:

1. sheepskin lined denim jacket, £39.99.  this is so nice!  i'm sooo putting this on my christmas list!  it would be perfect to layer up in this cold winter but also to wear with pretty dresses in the summer, wannnnt! <3
 


2. chambray skirt with hearts, £19.99.  this is nice but i'm not sure i'd be able to pull it off, might look a bit funny on me..
 


3. sweatshirt with elbow patches, £16.99, again it's lovely but i wouldn't know how to wear it!


4. sweatshirt with plush appliques, £19.99.  same as above reallyyy.


5. retro checkered skirt, £19.99.  really like this too, i could dress it up or down for diff occasions i guesss:D



meh, well that's about as interesting as my day gets unfortunately! sorry guys:L

kay so, i'm at dads with nothing to do so might as well make a blog post..
now some readers may have heard of babycakes clothing.  i've known about the brand for ages and even met the creator, paul griffiths at the clothes show live in december '09 with jess, the susanna part of susanna valentine, (see picture above) but the clothes have always been a bit 'out there' for me.  i've bought 2 shirts from them before (1, 2. cant really see the shirt in the first pic!) but never really wore them.  however they have out a few new products and i love the hoodie they made!

i've been looking for a hoodie in a charcoal colour for aaages but haven't been able to find the right one.  i also have a mini obsession with pixels as i used to be involved in the pixelling community when i was younger and have always been interested in that area, so this hoodie is so perfect! the only problem is that it's like £40! ):  might put it on my christmas list just in case!

also, i bought a polaroid 600 camera a while back on ebay and have been looking at film for it.  the film was discontinued aaages ago so its completely overpriced now, at like £30 for 10 photos! it's a shame really, cause i love the old look of them and i wanna make a little display with them in my room, plus they'd be great to put into my photography portfolio when i go to A-level for experimentation with different cameras!  oh well, maybe i'll get round to treating myself one day..

aaaalso, i have decided that the 'sunday round up' isn't quite working out for me, i just don't know what sort of stuff i'm supposed to do! so i have decided to take some inspiration a la kaelah bee and do a mini monday mix!  i will post 5 tracks every monday of my favourite songs of the previous week to hopefully brighten up your monday!  however, i will not be doing them in download form because i could possibly get done in for it! i'll probably feature it in a mini player or several youtube videos embedded, what do you think?(:

sunday round up week 4: photojojo

so i missed the sunday round up yesterday, sorry guys!  my stepdad was on the computer pretty much all day, no exaggeration!  so this week i've chosen to feature a website called Photojojo!  it has everything photography on there and i fell in love with everything!  a few of my favourite items are:

 i love love LOVE this adorable usb pen, as i am a fanatical photographer, always with my nikon d5000 handy it's perfect for me, especially as i am taking photography for a-level in sixth form next year, it will be perfect for storing my portfolio!  i've asked for it from my grandparents this year so hopefully i'll receive it underr our tree! click here to buy.

also: who else is having problems with tumblr? i've been trying to get on it for the past few days and it's still saying the same message about a problem with the database? it's driving my crazy, i need my tumblr fix!

terrible week

so last night it snowed and left me with like 3 or so inches of snow.  don't get me wrong, i love the stuff but just not this time of the year, especially today.  i'm supposed to be going back to my fleet house (my parents are divorced) and seeing my boyfriend and i also need to get my macbook from there so i have it for friday but nnnoo, it has to snow and my school just had to close, leaving me stranded in arborfield of all places.  no one lives in arborfield!  so today is my pajama day, chillaxin' in my onesie(;

also, i blogged about the clothes show live before, talking about how excited i am about going this sunday.  turns out, they send us the wrong tickets so we are now going on saturday.  i'm still grateful for getting the tickets of course but sunday is the day where the shops are trying to get all of the stock out, resulting in mega price cuts, but whatever, still going and i guess thats what matters(:  my mum also managed to get vip fashion show tickets for a really discounted price, at only £15 a pop! so happy!

next, music.  i've been in a bit of a rut lately musicwise as i'm finding i'm just listening to the same old stuff so i went through my ipod and rediscovered brand new and hollywood undead! i got the hollywood undead discography ages ago and never really listened to it and now i'm obsessed!  probably not the kind of music most people like though haha.  however, you may like brand new.  i knew a few of their songs before but got their album and fell head over heels in love!  this is what the video at the top of the post is, it's my new favourite song by them!

so provoked by my obsession, i have ordered some tshirts!  above to the left you'll see an outdated brand new tee which i got real cheap cause they have new merch now.  i also bought a crystal castles tee shown on the right because i loooove their music and saw the tee on the stalls at reading festival last year but never got round to buying it, so here it is! can't wait until they both arrive!
