new blog!

okay so, i have been using this blog for a really long time as a business AND personal blog and it's just getting confusing now! i've decided to start my own blog, just for me, as i'm having a rough time at the moment and i just need an outlet or something, so click here or on the image above to see it!  i'm still working on all the graphics etc, i only made it yesterday, so i reassure you it will get better!

tshirts??

sorry i haven't been writing in a while! i've been so so busy with school and everything, i have no time to blog!  anyway, i've been thinking lately that Susanna Valentine could expand it's horizons, i'm thinking t-shirts?? they would all be hand screened with cute and quirky little graphics.  i have seen tutorials all over the internet on how to make your own screens and, although it looks extremely time consuming, i'd like to find a new hobby(:  the tshirts would only be pretty basic with one colour (unless i'm feeling daring and blend colours?!) and bold graphics.  a few examples of what i'm aiming to get are shown below:

so yeah, the graphics would be block colours pretty much(: i already have a load of ideas but feel absolutely welcome to share some ideas of tees etc in the comments, i'd love to hear your opinions!

01: okay, so i've been thinking about the overall design of the Susanna Valentine website and blog and have decided that it needs to be changed.  when i first started up the company i wanted it to be all girly and cute but i've changed my mind since then and have decided that it's not me at all, i'm more into quirky things and would like my business and the products to portray who i am so from now on i'm going to try and achieve a more individual image with my jewellery to match my personality.  so, for the next few days/weeks the sites might begin to take on mixed images so please ignore this, it's probably just me experimenting with everything!  so yeah, stay tuned for a big image change!


02: i've also been wanting to do a proper photoshoot for aaages but have never had the chance to yet, plus it's winter now, so no more beautiful sunny days with nice lighting unfortunately ):  but i will try my best to get a shoot done soon!


03: lastly, i've been thinking that my blog needs some regularity so i'm adding a new feature every sunday called sunday round up! this will just be a random collection of links that i've collected throughout the week, it can include anything from songs to photographers to interesting news in general. today i have decided to share a song i found recently that i have fallen in love with! it's called black sheep by metric and i discovered it in the movie 'scott pilgrim saves the world' which i'm sure everyones heard of.  anyway maybe let me know what you think in the comments!  (just to let you know, the intro is really long, the song doesn't actually kick in properly until 0.34!)

So, a while ago I posted a picture of me in my halloween outfit on my blog and I also posted it on my lookbook.  A few hours after I uploaded it I had about 16 emails saying that loads of people had become a fan of my looks and I had a load of comments, then I discovered that I had 174 hypes on the look! I was so pumped, I can't believe that so many people liked it! So I'd like to thank everybody who hyped my look, it really means a lot! :D  Here's the look if you haven't already seen it :

okay so my galaxy leggings FINALLY arrived :D  in fact, they actually arrived on monday but i haven't had time to make a post about them aha.  so here's a picture of the leggings on:

So I'm 16!

WOOO I WAS 16 YESTERDAY

Sorry I didn't post earlier, yesterday was hectic, was so amazing and I'd like to thank all of my friends for making it special for me ^-^  Let me run you through my day(s):

1. woke up late and almost missed the bus, when i got there one of my best friends maria was waiting with my present from her:D

2. arrived at school and got yet more presents from other friends then at break livvy had bought me loads of cakes and we did the whole happy birthday/candle thing aha

3. got home and got ready then picked up by my shaunyyy at 7 and went out for dinner then back to mine to pick up sleepover stuff and we cotched around at his until i was falling asleep and moved to his sisters room haha

4. got picked up by mum in the morning and we went to basingstoke to go birthday present shopping then home and family birthday dinner with my brother who normally boards at school in somerset but came down especially:D  i haven't actually seen my dad this weekend because he cancelled my birthday party and we're currently not speaking /: its complicated and sad):

ahh life's good at the moment :D  i may be absolutely broke but whatever, i just bought a new camera!  i do already have a nikon d5000 that i got for my birthday last year but i really wanted a proper vintage one so had a look on ebay and managed to win a genuine polaroid 1000 camera for just under£20 which is really cheap! it looks like this:

i'm SOOOO hyped! i can't wait for it to arrive!:D  it's so cute, especially the little rainbow stripes :3  unfortunately, it does take film and it's not cheap! its almost a tenner for 1 pack but oh wellll(:  i'm hoping that when i receive it i can do something like this to my wall in my bedroom:

also, i'm getting soooo impatient, i ordered those galaxy leggings a while ago (a made a post about it, you'll have seen it if you're a regular reader) and they still haven't arrived, i mean i know they have to print the fabric and sew them and stuff but it can't take this long!!  arrrrrrrgh

oh well i'll just have to wait );  until then, stay tuned for some review posts i guess lalal <3

PUPPY!?

okay so MAJOR update, i have a puppy!!  my dads been saying we're going to get one for aaaages and yesterday he just sent me a random picture message of a puppy then i realised the background was the inside of our kitchen! so that was a nice way of telling me haha.  the puppy is an 8 week old female cockerpoo (mix between a cocker spaniel and a poodle) and she's jet black.  she is also currently nameless but we've got some ideas, we like coco, lulu, lola, teddi and a few others, i'm liking lulu best though, what do you guys think?  i went round to see her today and she is so tiny! about fifteen inches from her head to tip of her tail and her neck is so tiny we needed to buy a cat collar! i couldn't resist not taking any photos so had a mini photoshoot in my garden, here are a few of the squillions of pictures:
